Metro Centre Newcastle Weekend - SOLD OUT- Friday 23rd November 2012

MetroCentre, Gateshead holds the title of largest shopping centre in Europe. The MetroCentre opened on 14 October 1986

and has around 342 stores and restaurants, from High Street favourites to quirky boutiques, there is something for everyone.

The MetroCentre has four malls; red, green, blue and yellow. It also has themed shopping areas; The Village,

formerly known as the Antiques Village, The Forum, and The Studio, formerly known as the Mediterranean Village,

and houses many restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes.

The Metro Retail Park houses large stores such as Barker and Stonehouse, Toys R Us and Pets at Home. McDonald's and Pizza Hut.

This fantastic trip departs on Friday 23rd  November and returns on Sunday 25th November 2012.

You will stay at the 3* George Washington Golf Hotel and Spa on a Bed & Breakfast basis. High Tea is included in the

price of the trip on the Friday evening only. The hotel has great leisure facilities for you to unwind in after a hard day's

shopping, or for the more energetic you can take advantage of the on site gymnasium. The hotel has free WiFi connection.

The itinerary will depart Dundee on Friday 23rd November at approximately 1400 hrs

On arriving in Newcastle you will be staying at the George Washington Golf Hotel on a bed breakfast basis

with High Tea included on the first night only.

Saturday 24th November.

After breakfast at approx 09.30 you will be transferred by coach to the Metro Shopping Centre  or Newcastle City Centre.

You will have the whole day to enjoy the shopping experience which only the Metro Centre and Newcastle can offer.

The coach will depart the City Centre at  1700hrs and the Metro Centre at approx 17.30 hrs for your return journey back to the

George Washington.

Sunday 25th November

 The coach will depart after breakfast at approximately 10.00am- stopping en route again for another visit to

The Metro Centre leaving at approx 1400hrs to arrive back in Dundee approx 18.00hrs 

Price per person includes return coach travel to and from your pick up point, hotel accommodation on a

bed and breakfast basis and High Tea at the hotel on the Friday evening.
